HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN FAMILY HISTORY/GENEALOGY? I’ve always been interested in genealogy, but never knew how to start or thought it was all done! 😉 I got married and my MIL never knew much about her family so I went to a conference and a few local classes to learn how to research.
WHERE DID YOU GET THE INSPIRATION FOR YOUR BLOG’S NAME? I always hear moms saying they don’t have time and they’ll do it when they are older, I’ve noticed so many blessings for me and my kids when I do Genealogy that I wanted other moms to realize it’s do able and worth it with kids! When I started out being a mom with young kids (think a brand new baby) was unusual! It set me apart.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE THE MOST ABOUT BLOGGING? The people I meet and the mysteries we solve together. Blogging also makes me commit time to genealogy, so I get something done.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE NEW FAMILY HISTORY/GENEALOGY BLOGGERS? Be more consistent than I am! 😆 Also, embrace the community, it’s not a competition. There’s a lot of people out there willing to help.
